Nadezhda: Textbook for Courses of Russian as a Foreign Language (B1+ / B2). Issue 1. Part 1: We cannot live without each other. Part 2: We are to grow to a hundred without getting old. This course for the first time combines the Russian and American approaches to teaching Russian as a foreign language. The classes are aimed to create effective intercultural communication. This can be achieved by practising language skills based on the "flipped classroom" principle as well as by working in groups and doing creative exercises. They help to develop students' critical thinking skills and their ability to make decisions, as well as to advance their skills in intercultural communication. This book is the first one in the series. Each book in the series has two themes, and each theme includes 10 lessons and answer keys. The textbook is aimed at students learning Russian as a foreign language at level B1 and above. It also will be interesting to anyone who would like to improve their Russian as a foreign language. The book comes with QR-codes. The Nadezhda educational complex combines modern Russian and American approaches to teaching Russian as a foreign language for the first time. The purpose of the classes is to prepare for effective intercultural communication, which is achieved through the development of language material on the principle of an inverted classroom (fl ipped classroom) and the implementation of group projects, creative tasks that develop critical thinking, the ability to make decisions and improve intercultural communication skills.¶The publication consists of a series of manuals, each of which contains two thematic cycles. Each cycle includes 10 lessons and keys. The manual is addressed to students of advanced stage (B 1 and above) and to everyone who wants¶to improve in learning Russian as a foreign language.
