Description:
Each of the 12 chapters in each level of "Mittelpunkt" centres on a different topic. Each double page is a self-contained unit where one or more learning objectives are studied in depth. These form the basis of all the exercises on the topic in question.

The workbooks are structured in the same way as the coursebooks, divided into 12 units. Unlike the coursebooks though, the units vary in length. The workbooks reinforce and expand the subject material in the coursebooks. Vocabulary, grammar and learning strategies are set in context and at the end of each unit there is an overview of all the important grammar introduced in the unit. An audio-CD with all the listening texts is included at the end of the book.

The teacher's books offer practical hints for working with "Mittelpunkt", numerous suggestions for class projects, exercises and games, tests for each coursebook unit, answers to the tests and to the exercises in the coursebook, transcripts of all listening texts in the coursebook and an overview of the learning objectives in the coursebooks.
