"Daf im Unternehmen" is a vocational course suitable for absolute beginners that teaches the language required to communicate in a German work environment. The chapters in the coursebook are short and clearly structured. Vocabulary is relevant to both everyday and business situations and important linguistic and work-related skills are introduced in business settings so language structures are linked with writing work emails, customer conversations and presentations.

Grammar is studied using business contexts to illustrate points and an overview of grammar is also included. Each chapter offers specific pronunciation training. Roleplay exercises have realistic settings and authentic company profiles are used in the book, DVD and online materials. The workbook part of the book contains a range of exercises to revise and expand on the structures learnt and levels A1 and A2 also offer additional training in written language. Answers are given at the end of book. The accompanying DVD and CDs contain film clips with company profiles and the listening texts from the book.
