Descripción: Rincón y Cortado, dos muchachos vagabundos, se conocen, un dia de verano. Luego, inician un viaje hacia la ciudad de Sevilla. Los muchachos visitan la casa del maestro de la golferia Monipadio, el cual los examina y acoge en la confradia, asignandoles los nombres de Rinconete y Cortadillo. Rinconete: trucos con las cartas. Cortadilo: ladrón de bolsos.
