Ian V Hogg served in the Royal Artillery in World War Two and Korea and became a gunnery instructor in 1953. He retired from the service in 1972. Since then he has become a freelance writer and written, edited or contributed to over 120 books and magazine articles. Previous books for Crowood include Allied Artillery of WW1 and Allied Artillery of WW2.
