Pyramid 3 Pupil's Book

Description: "Pyramid" is a six-level course written with both the linguistic and general cognitive development of the young learner in mind. Levels 1-4 teach the basic structures and functions of English through play. Opportunities for interaction are provided through games, stories, rhymes and modern songs and chants. The activities are task-based and pupil-centred. Levels 5 and 6 are topic-based, and reflect the interests and concerns of the target age group. There is constant recycling and reinforcement of the language learned at each level. The pupil's books are illustrated in colour, with each unit providing enough material for a week's work. The listening material uses children's voices and features songs and chants. The workbooks exploit and recycle the material presented in the pupils's book and contain grammar points and strategies for self-assessment. The teacher's books contain an introduction to the course and a lesson-by-lesson overview, as well as detailed lesson plans and suggestions for further activities.
