Description: A new book to help ESL students pass the 2008 revised Citizenship Test. The ESL lessons in the book include American government, history, geography, and citizenship and cover all four skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. Each lesson contains the following: Objectives; PreReading Activities; Information in the form of charts, diagrams, timelines and maps; Readings, and Reviews which target the USCIS 100 Questions. All the activities have exercises with them including: listening and oral, scanning and skimming, predicting, questioning, matching, and answering questions. The books can be used for low intermediate advanced students. This is a thoroughly reworked version of Of the People and By the People, For the People previously published by Delta and the Center for Applied Linguistics.
