Over 50 buildings are presented in detail. These include the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast, and Dublin Airport. The book is being published to coincide with a major exhibition devoted to 20th century Irish architecture opening on 21 September 1996 at the Deutsches Architektur-Museum, Frankfurt.
