Author Biography:
Douglas Brent Caywood is an architect with Kirkman Associates, Architects in Dalton, Georgia while living on his family farm in Cleveland, Tennessee. He graduated as valedictorian in 1998 from the University of Tennessee College of Architecture and was employed with Ross/Fowler, P.C. Architecture and Landscape Architecture during the conceptualization and formulation of this book. His professional experience includes commercial, hospitality, residential, university, and elementary school project types as well as marketing activities for the firm. Caywood is an active member of the American Institute of Architects East Tennessee and the Construction Specifications Institute.
