WHAT IS IT? (A2-B1) (LET'S PLAY IN ENGLISH)
A photo cards game which helps students learn new words, describe everyday objects and talk about the materials they are made of.
The game can also be used to practise interrogative, affirmative and negative verb forms.
Lower intermediate level (CEFR A2-B1).
The game consists of 132 cards divided into two decks containing 55 cards: one deck of cards with photos of objects and a deck of clue cards with 5 clues on each card to help guess the object. There are also 11 material cards and 11 help cards providing suggestions for possible questions and answers.
HOW TO PLAY
The game leader chooses the object cards and corresponding clue cards and then places the object cards on the table. The clue cards remain face down.
The first player starts by turning over one of the clue cards and reading the first clue without showing it to the other players. If nobody guesses the player continues reading the other clues until someone guesses it. The game leader then assigns
