Description: "Studio" offers two alternative routes of study, both based on the same common teaching principles, yet with different progressions. "Studio 60" offers 60 hours of classroom study per level and would suit intensive 1-2 month courses or annual courses with two hours of classroom study per week while "Studio 100" offers 100 hours of study per level, suitable for more standard, extensive courses.

"Studio 60" provides over 150 exercises per level with a large communicative, namely listening, component, hence the inclusion of a free audio-CD which allows students to easily catch up on any missed lessons or for additional revision work. The student's book also includes full transcripts and conjugation tables for reference.

In addition to the "communicative" bias of the course, classroom activities also include grammar and phonetic exercises and items of cultural interest. Level 1 prepares students for Unit A1 of the DELF qualification, with specific revision sections for this exam.
