A smile and philosophy? Is that even possible? After all, philosophy is something so thick, so boring, and without any smiles! Just recently, I thought exactly the same. Until I discovered the work of the amazing contemporary writer and philosopher Boris Krieger. I must admit, writing about Boris Krieger's work is quite difficult. There's so much I want to say. And when evaluating it, it's hard not to resort to superlatives. On the other hand, when writing about an author, you automatically want to emulate their style. But Boris Krieger has such an elegant and effortless style that such an attempt would likely prove pathetic, unconvincing, and unsatisfactory. The only solution is to read not reviews about lapidary expressive constructions and pointed antitheses, but to directly enjoy the clear, precise, and pure language of the writer himself.
