Description: This new work for cycle 3 allows you to have different dictations and to approach other notions of grammar or spelling. They have been tested by more than 10 classes. Dictations are a must for learning spelling, but can be a source of stress for children when they are used only to punish errors! Through a positive approach to dictation, this book has two objectives: to reinvest the knowledge seen in art history to offer meaningful texts; make dictations a real learning device in addition to an evaluation tool.
It offers a methodology and a progression around 25 sequences to learn and memorize, reread, correct yourself effectively with a positive approach to dictation. The approach, effective and rewarding, offers a recurring structure over a week: discovery and study of a work of art (painting, sculpture, music, monument...); work on a notion of lexical or grammatical spelling (subject-verb agreement, homophones, etc.); lexical enrichment (words to learn); training with flash dictations; assessment dictations allowing to reinvest the knowledge seen in art history; correction including a progress graph.
With differentiation proposals: variable quantity of words to learn, dictation texts of different length and difficulty, differentiated correction. This book takes students on a journey around the world: the 25 dictations are an opportunity to discover 25 works of art spread over the 5 continents. Digital resources (accessible on mes-ressources-pedagogiques. editions-retz.
