Couleur Champagne

Description: Eugene, a 19th century little boy born in Epernay, has two dreams: to make all the men and women of his time taste champagne, not just the elites - which is revolutionary -, and to exculpate his best friend Paul, accused of parricide. The first of his dreams will come true. Eugene will found his house, the Mercier champagnes, and will succeed in his bet: to make the "wine of kings" the party wine for everyone, everywhere in the world.
But he will die without having been able to realize his second dream. It is his diary, hidden in the Mercier cellars, which will allow Cornelius, his Champagne grandson, and Mary, Paul's American granddaughter, to finally discover the truth a century later.
