Description:
A coursebook for teenagers aged 11-16 covering A1 to B1 of the CEFR. 'Adosphère' adopts an active, task-based approach which, as its name suggests, encourages students to immerse themselves in the lives of the teenagers who appear in the books. It places a strong emphasis on developing students' independence by making them aware of different learning techniques that could benefit them and by encouraging them to evaluate their progress regularly. 'Adosphère' is easy to follow and use and offers both teachers and students a wealth of extra digital material to make the learning process more engaging and interactive.

The exercise book is expected to be completed outside the classroom and in students' own time. It includes a 'Dossier perso' which allows students to keep a record of their work and their progress. In addition to this, at the end of each chapter there are self-assessment exercises which put the focus on the student being at the centre of their learning process. A CD-rom is also included which contains 100 interactive and self-correcting activities.

The "Guide pédagogique" is a comprehensive guide to the course with lesson plans for each module, revision and extension sheets, a test for each "dossier" and the answer keys.

The "Livre du professeur" contains the student's book and workbook in one volume for teachers to use, with all the answers to the exercises already filled in. The CD-Rom included with it contains the activities from the student CD-Rom, an interactive multilingual glossary and the MP3 audio files. This book also includes 8 tests at the back of the book.
